The two tables list different characteristics because of the fundamental difference between the SigmaDSP and SHARC. The performance of SigmaDSPs is measured not by benchmark times but by how large a system of blocks can fit into the available instructions. A good visual comparison of the various SigmaDSPs is available at http://ez.analog.com/message/122021#122021 Also, many of the SHARCs' benchmarks such as FFT are not yet possible with SigmaDSP. Thus the SigmaDSP table contains characteristics more applicable to this family, such as available I/Os, self-boot, etc.
