Hi Juergen,
The two tables list different characteristics because of the fundamental difference between the SigmaDSP and SHARC. The performance of SigmaDSPs is measured not by benchmark times but by how large a system of blocks can fit into the available instructions. See http://ez.analog.com/docs/DOC-2734 which describes how this works. A good visual comparison of the various SigmaDSPs is available at Also, many of the SHARCs' benchmarks such as FFT are not yet possible with SigmaDSP. Thus the SigmaDSP table contains characteristics more applicable to this family, such as available I/Os, self-boot, etc.
