Hi David

good morning.

I don't use VDSP tools in my new Windows 8 machine.

I want to use host application to connect with SHARC via USB Extender.  In this, I need Windows 8 based USB driver for USB extender board.  This is what I need and I do not need anything else like VDSP etc..  there is host app that takes care of the rest with out VDSP.

Regards

jk

Hi Csound,

As i believe you're working with VisualDSP++ I've moved the thread from the SHARC community to the VisualDSP++ Community.

What version of the tools have you installed on your new machine? If you're unsure you can find this information by selecting Help->About VisualDSP from within the IDDE. Please note, Windows 8 support was only added to the tools in VisualDSP++ 5.1. If you aren't already working with this version, can you please try installing it now. Note, the link to download the product within the 'Product Download' section is incorrectly called 'Download free 90 day evaluation software'. This link is for the Full version and we've asked for the name of the link to be changed.

Please let me know how you get on.

Regards,

David.
